Eagle Infant Lead
Hi, I’m Ms. Alisha and I am so excited to be a part of Endeavor Montessori at Dunwoody. I currently hold a Diploma in Educational Psychology and am certified in areas of Special Education with an Advanced Diploma in Montessori and Early Childhood Education (AMS). I am also a yoga certified teacher for Early Years and a Gemiini certified professional (an online therapy program and is a clinically proven way to increase language, reading and social skills through play-based learning system).
My future career goal is to pursue a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology and special education. I started my career as an Infant Toddler Teacher and have seven years of teaching experience. I love working with kids because I think it is so amazing to watch them discover their own world in their own way. I’m dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child and I believe in giving children the best opportunities to learn through freedom of choice and independence through Montessori methods, positive guidance and holistic approach for their overall development.
I’m a Montessori mom since 14 years and in my free time I like to read, do yoga and meditation, gardening, cooking and listen to music, and enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
My goal is to help every child reach their full potential through the Montessori Method of Education and by creating a positive environment, where the child feels comfortable to work, develop, learn and grow at their own individual pace.
Have a wonderful year ahead!
